Our Facility

ECM Terminals Limited Calabar Free Ports is a one stop logistic shop for consignees and consists of three berths, 4 – 6 with a total quay length of 480m and an ongoing plan to extend the jetty by an additional 480m. The facility has a  maximum/minimum depth alongside the berth of 11/9 meters respectively, the maximum draft in approach is estimated to be about 6.4 meters while the Calabar river has a tidal variation of between +0.6 to +3.2 mters and the jetty has a certified bollard capacity of 50T.
ECM Terminals Limited has expertise for all kinds of cargo. The terminal is an ISPS code compliant terminal and has operated on security level 1 since inception. The terminal has a HSEQ culture which has imbibed high standard into staff. The terminals command and control centre is domiciled locally making it easy for business decision-making. Most importantly, the port has the full compliment of a multi-purpose terminal and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
